Ellen this is such a clever idea for 'detach'. I just discovered your blog and work, I think that we belong to the same age group. Your work is just beautiful.
I used to draw so many geckos that I named my art ventures "art gecko!" I've always liked a good play on words. I didn't quite have a business in those days, but I sure did paint a lot of my colorful geckos on lots of sweatshirts and flowerpots. Your little guy reminds me of the ones I did...same position only my tails were still attached! Excellent concept and iloo, Ellen:)
