JUGGLING
Years ago I saw a man with a dancing bear on a street corner in Munich. The bear seemed more human than the man and the bear would rather have juggled.

Someone reminded me about this illustration I did for IF when the word was "play".

cute, the bear has other aspirations :)

Clever and well done. The bear certainly does have other plans and the bottom one emanates unbridled glee.

I would have lost my mind seeing a bear in that way. Excellent drawings though, Ellen. I always enjoy your work!

I liked the illustration but the story that accompanies it is pretty great. That seems like such a random thing to see, but enjoyable.

What the beautiful wild animals of this world, put up with. I like the fantasy the great bear is having, and it's very funny that scene, especially the keepers head getting a good juggle. Beautiful artwork and idea Ellen!

I love the style of both of these. Something about that bear one along with your story really make it great.
